Reiki is a subtle energy healing modality that originated in Japan in the 1920s. The name translates to Rei, meaning universal, and Ki, meaning life force. Basically, it is an infinite energy that moves through and resides in all things. One of the many wonderful aspects of Reiki is that it causes no harm, as it works with your higher self in order to find the best course of action for healing.

Reiki is gentle yet powerful, it is phenomenal at relieving stress and anxiety, locating and clearing energetic blockages which can cause a variety of problematic symptoms, is a helpful companion treatment for those working through trauma and is highly effective in supporting the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Reiki as with all things changes with the needs of the world around it. This is how Holy Fire came to be in 2014 when it came to William Lee Rand founder of The International Center for Reiki Training. He describes Holy Fire as a refined, high-consciousness spiritual energy that originates from a higher level of source and is designed to create wholeness, purification, guidance, and empowerment.

In my experience and many others the energy is more vibrant since it comes purely from the source energy and is guided by the practitioner and not through them. This results in resoundingly effective energy that can last as long as is needed by the recipient.

In a session the recipients concerns and needs are discussed to set an intention for healing. Then a guided mediation as well as sound healing are combined to bring you to a state of deep relaxation. Applying a hands-off technique Holy Fire Reiki is used to identify problem areas and assess the best course for healing without negative effects for the recipient. After a session any work done is thoroughly explained and any questions discussed.
